Events/Entertainment 
Organize SJDRA Evening Socials, Quarterly Meetings, Holiday Party and other special events.  Responsibilities include identifying locations, dates, scheduling guest speakers, and identify volunteers to help with day of activities.

Communication/Marketing 
Develop newsletter, periodically conduct surveys to gather opinions of resident on issues of concern, increase presence downtown via getting SJDRA material to local businesses and complexes, keep residents regularly updated on SJDRA and Downtown happenings via Facebook, Yahoo Group and SJDRA email list.

Advocacy/Public Policy 
Keep updated on issues effecting Downtown San Jose community, provide recommendations to board on positions SJDRA should take on issues, keep board and residents updated on issues.

Membership Outreach 
Manage yearly membership mailer, recruit new members, find ways to increase membership benefits (discounts, free stuff, etc.), develop relationships with downtown businesses, develop business membership plan and recruit businesses to sign up.
